Oaks Dental Care Relocated and Still Provides Great Care

Oaks Dental Care employees work hard to make the dental clinic a friendly environment for patients. In November, Oaks Dental Care, a private practice dental office, relocated to 3130 Glenview Rd., near to Glenview Champions Country Club. The practice specializes in general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. To commemorate the occasion, the staff held a ribbon-cutting ceremony recently.

Dr. TQ Nguyen, the business’s owner and doctor of medicine in dentistry, is seeing an increase in new patients and recommendations every day.

“We were growing rapidly, and we needed to be able to accommodate more patients because our referral base kept coming in,” she said. “So this was a much larger space, beautiful location. We needed to be on Village(s) property.”

The larger facility also permits Nguyen and her team to work with patients for longer periods of time rather than having a limited amount of time to give care, according to Nguyen.

“It’s so nice just being integrated into The Villages as opposed to being on (East CR) 466,” said Colleen Warrior, one of the hygienists at Oaks Dental Care. “It’s so nice being completely part of the community.”

More patients have come to the office since the move, according to Warrior.

Nguyen appreciates doing business in The Villages due to the obvious community atmosphere.

“I think that’s why we chose this particular location instead of being in such a business-oriented area,” Nguyen said. “We wanted more of a family feel. There’s just houses all around us. It’s not mass marketing. I’m not a corporation. We’re a privately owned practice.”

Warrior appreciates how Nguyen treats each patient as though they are family.

“That’s important to me and the way she delivers care,” Warrior said. “It puts patients in such comfort that they do feel like family, and I think that’s why she’s getting so many referrals from our current patients because patients just feel comfortable here.”

Nguyen’s ambition for her practice was to build an office where personnel would slow down and show extra attention and care to each patient.

The ambiance is also intended to be relaxing, such as by playing soothing music to ease any patient’s worries.
