From April 5-7, “Beauty and the Beast,” presented by The Villages Musical Theater, Inc. will be shown at Savannah Regional Recreation Complex. Showtimes are either at 2 or 7 p.m., depending on the day.
The classic French fairytale tells the story of Belle, an independent young woman bored with life in a provincial town, and the Beast, a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed into his former self. Time is running out, though. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
