As most Villagers know, The Villages spans through three different counties. Here are the number of new COVID cases as of June 29, according to the CDC website.
In Lake County, there have been about 286 new cases over the last week. About 16 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and about 4 deaths were reported.
In Marion County, there have been 215 new cases. About 13 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
In Sumter County, there have been about 212 cases. About 16 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
