On Oct. 22 from 5-7 p.m., New Covenant United Methodist Church will be having their October Family Event in the west parking lot of the church. There will be Trunk or Treat, family activities and carnival food. COVID-19 safety measures will be in place.
For people who wish to participate in the Trunk or Treat, the church asks to come in your decorated car or golf cart between 4:15-4:45 p.m. They also encourage you to dress up and keep the spooky themes mild since there will be little kids in attendance. The church expects there to be about 200 kids participating, so please have 300 pieces of candy or more to pass out.
For people who wish to donate candy for the event, the bags can be dropped off at the children’s room at the church.
The event is free to the public, and people are more than welcome to show up in costume. New Covenant United Methodist Church is located at 3470 Woodridge Dr.
