Shelter dog of the week: Grizzly

Need a water dog?

Grizzly is an energetic, lovable pooch looking for his forever home.

Due to some complications, Grizzly had to have one eye removed, but that hasn’t stopped him from loving splashes in the kiddie pool. While he would do best as the solo dog in a household, he could warm up to other housemates with proper introduction.

All adoption fees are currently waived. Animals adopted are vaccinated for rabies and other common diseases, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter.

Sumter County Animal Services is open Thursday through Monday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 819 CR 529, Lake Panasoffkee, FL 33585.
