Shelter dog of the week: Kirby

Ready for an old dog who already knows all the tricks?

Then Kirby is the most well behaved gentleman for you!

Kirby is known at the shelter for his soft, fluffy coat and his sweet nature. He’s always happy to receive head scratches and to cuddle. Anyone who brings Kirby home will not have worry about accidents as he is already potty-trained and will happily wait by the door to go outside.

The shelter environment was stressful for Kirby and he is currently in foster care. If you wish to meet Kirby, contact the shelter to schedule an in-person meeting.

All adoption fees are currently waived. Animals adopted out are vaccinated for rabies and other common diseases, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter.

Sumter County Animal Services is open daily from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 819 CR 529, Lake Panasoffkee, FL 33585.
