On Feb 26 and 27, 2022, The Strawberry Festival will be held at Brownwood Paddock Square from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free for Villagers, guests and locals to enjoy. There will be various vendors, activities and shows, including The Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show.
This year, there will also be a Sweetie Pie Pageant. Contestants must be 55 years of age or older and must be able to “express their lifestyle through festive wear, evening gown presentation, talent and an interview with judges,” according to the pageant’s guidelines. The Sweetie Pie Pageant will kick off preliminaries at the festival. The top six contestants will move to the finals during The Blueberry Festival, which will take place at the Brownwood Paddock Square on April 22, 2022.
On Feb. 26, contestants will arrive in festive wear and will give a brief overview of their lifestyle. The following day, they will showcase their talent on the Meggison Stage and answer some questions.
The finalists will show off their evening gowns and will be interviewed at The Blueberry Festival. Ms. Sweetie Pie will be announced after each contestant conducts their tasks and judges have concluded.
