Register for Sumter Sheriff Bill Farmer’s charity golf tournament at Tierra Del Sol

Players who are interested in participating in the upcoming Sumter County Sheriff Bill Farmer’s annual charity golf tournament can register themselves at the Tierra Del Sol Golf Course. The famous golf course in The Villages will host the 22nd annual event on June 5. The event’s proceeds will benefit local youth by supporting sports, community events and educational scholarships. Last year’s tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The participants need to submit a $98 fee in order to participate in the golf tournament. The tournament announces various rewards for winning teams, for instance a hole-in-one bonus car endorsed by George Nahas Chevrolet, a hole-in-one prize golf cart endorsed by The Villages Golf Cars, an online silent auction and golf mulligans (two for $5 or $20 for a group of four).

Businesses in the region will also benefit from a range of sponsorship levels. Businesses who wish to be listed on the event sponsor board must submit their forms and payment by May 19. Make checks payable to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Benevolent Fund and mail them to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Village Annex, 8033 County Road 466, The Villages, FL 32162
