As most Villagers know, The Villages spans through three different counties. Here are the number of new COVID cases as of Mar. 30, according to the CDC website.
In Lake County, there have been about 40 new cases over the last week. About 4 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
In Marion County, there have been about 19 new cases. Seven of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
In Sumter County, there have been about 32 new cases. About four of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
The CDC updates the number of new cases regularly, if not daily, and anyone can view the numbers by visiting covid.cdc.gov.
