As of Jan. 25, the site work of the First Responders Recreation Center is 80% complete, and the main building’s construction is 67% complete. The overall completion of the project is 76%.
While the new recreation center was being built, the Recreation Department asked Villagers to contribute any first responders memorabilia that they might have. Many applications and photos were submitted, and due to the overwhelming amount, any further submissions will not be taken.
