Tavares Police Department is currently investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on April 8 in the Caroline Court Apartments.
According to Florida Police Scanner, Tavares Police Department were dispatched to the shooting at approximately 8 p.m. Alejandro Garcia Jr is one of the victims from the shooting and was pronounced deceased on scene. Darnell Lester suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital for treatment where he is currently stable.
