Keith McQueston | September 3, 1960 – August 15, 2021

Keith James McQueston, age 60, of The Villages, Florida passed away peacefully on August 15, after a long two-year battle with Prostate Cancer.

Keith was born on September 3, 1960, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania to James and Marguerite McQueston. He spent his childhood in Warminster PA, before moving to Philadelphia, Bluebell, and finally to The Villages, Florida, which was his goal.

He is survived by his mother Marge McQueston, sister Lori (Paul) Duester, brother Todd McQueston; aunt Duane Dement and cousin Margot Dement; and the cool uncle of Patrick and Rachel Duester; and Megan, Kelly and Danny McQueston.

He leaves behind many friends. Keith spent his childhood swimming and hanging out at Hideaway Swim Club, playing baseball, and listening to all genres of music. He loved going to concerts with friends, and after college, spent summers at the Jersey shore. In his adult life, golf was his passion. A graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with his Bachelor’s in finance, Keith worked in banking and mortgage companies. He went back to school and received his Master’s in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University, and then went on to work for Siemens and had various other independent contracts with hospital systems throughout the country. His passion for finance brought him to work and trade in the stock market for the last several years. Keith loved his nieces and nephews, sports, his friends, and a good party.

As a season ticket holder of the Philadelphia Eagles for over 30 years, Keith made so many memories from the evolving and sophisticated tailgates to the cheering, and sometimes yelling, at the Eagles from his seat, upgraded to Club Box. Keith’s last few months of life were difficult and challenging, but he kept his zest for life and great sense of humor while working through his daily routines until close to the end. As Keith fought the fight, he was continuously comforted by family and friends. In his last weeks of life in the Philly area, Keith enjoyed a good burger and fries, while sitting outside at a restaurant, and one last trip to the Jersey Shore. Finally, he cherished the numerous visits and reminiscing with old friends before moving to Florida.

In his last weeks, Keith stated he wanted to do something for someone in need, but never had the chance to execute his wishes. You may pay his wishes forward with a kind deed or a donation to someone or organization of your choice in Keith’s memory. In the end, Keith had a peaceful passing as he was brought home on Eagles wings. Fly Eagles Fly.
